I started off posting my nutritious eats on Instagram (@eatnutritiously) since May 2012 and have now started this site to allow viewers a more comprehensive and easy way to access recipes and posts. I post for all different food types and tag accordingly (vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, paleo, gluten-free, etc). Most of my recipes start with some sort of familiar base and have a random, healthy twist that keeps it delicious and nutritious. Hopefully you can pick up a few food tips and recipes and use or modify them to suit your needs.
I am all for cooking with seasonal, whole foods. When you cook your own food, you can be 100% confident about what you are feeding your body, or the bodies of others. Food and environmental toxins are some of the top contributors to health problems. A heavy, chemical-laden diet will not only physically drain you, but will also fog up your mind and close your heart. By choosing foods for nourishment, you are able to clear up that fog and develop a clearer mental state. I focus on avoiding these dead, heavily-processed foods and eating to feel alive.
